Must have

This is such a great product. I have used it with kids 5 through 11 in therapy the past few days. It has been a great way to engage and discuss feelings. The cards are printed on quality paper with great graphics. This is a needed game for therapist!

Cards are great

I enjoy these cards and have come up with my own way of using them with kids. I don't think I really follow the intended activities, but they are good conversation starters.

These are cute cards and we plan to use them with classrooms and they can play snap and talk about the different emotions as they play.

Good quality

Very good quality. I use them to play memory and them have the student describe what the emotion feels like or means. Great for expanding emotional vocabulary and affective emotion expression.

Game for therapy

I worked as an in school therapist for an elementary school. The kids enjoyed this game and we played modified versions each time. They especially liked when they had to act out the emotion or dance.

Definitely a great tool for teaching social and emotional skills. I will be using these cards frequently both in group settings and in my one-on-one practice. Awesome images, and thoughtful content. Well worth every penny!

Quite large cards, nice artwork and great variety of emotions.Doesn't work playing snap with whole deck as too unlikely to get match.

These cards are such a great way of engaging young children and older. Where sometimes it might be hard to understand feelings or express them, the cards allow a fun and safe way of bringing the understanding forwards. Highly recommend for parents and therapists alike.

As a counsellor myself I love these cards, they are a fun way to teach children about different emotions and raise their emotional awareness! We've played dozens of games of snap as well as the memory game and my children love playing! We started by defining what each emotion meant and then asking the questions that are on each card. One thing I will say is though for playing snap we ended up matching the colours rather than the emotions in the end as we kept making it through the whole deck without a match! But I'd still recommend these cards to just about anyone!

I bought this to help my 12yr old identify and understand their emotions as they were struggling with overwhelm and inability to express themselves without frustration or feeling like something was 'wrong' with them. It was fun to play the game and the questions on the cards are a gentle way to realise the emotions in real life. Snap may seem too young of a game for a 12 yr old, and we were open about why we were playing the game to learn the names of emotions to help with real life challenges they were going through.

Really nice cards, I'm a mental health nurse and use these with a wide range of young people to help explore emotions. They are helpful across the board and suitable for people why have autism or autistic traits and promoting a conversation and understanding around a range of emotions. Not quite 5 star, there's only 2 of each emotion so there's little chance of getting a pair if you are playing snap.

The MindPanda HappySnap CBT Game for Kids is fantastic! It combines hilarity and cognitive-behavioral therapy to boost emotional intelligence and social skills in children. The game encourages meaningful conversations and engages the whole family with multiple game modes. Highly recommended for parents looking to foster emotional development and connection in a fun and interactive way.

I bought these to use in a primary school. They are really good as conversation starters. They are quite large for this age group and are hard to shuffle and deal. I have played snap with different group sizes and feel disappointed for the children because most times we have gone through the whole pack without getting a match. Not sure what to do about this. I wondered whether buying a second pack would work but they are expensive if it doesn’t. I can use them in a variety of ways but was hoping a selective mute my get carried away and make some sound on the SNAP.Good quality though.

This resource has been enjoyed and played by the wide range of ages, that I work with. It's a little harder for younger children, but only because of the reading of the questions. I haven't used it to play snap, as the cards are a bit big, but as a game for pairs, which is perfect. The questions are brilliant, simple and sometimes funny!

I work in a school with children with anger /emotional needs and these cards have been great at getting them to think about how to express different emotions. They enjoy answering the questions at the bottom of the card as they are quite general but a great way to get them to talk about an emotion.Only critisim is there isn't a card for embarrased - which personally I would have liked as a some children I work with children 'explode' when then get embarrased - but apart from that not complaints.

Great Emotional Understanding Game

I am an Intensive In-Home Therapist and have enjoyed utilizing this game with my clients! It's really great for younger kids (under 10) to give them a better understanding of more complex emotions.
